Harvey Album (2)

MURRAY HARVEY ALBUM (1)

Stewart Jackson wrote:  "He {Harvey Murray] was billeted with us from the 508 PIR when based in Wollaton Park (Tent City) prior to D-Day. He came back and then went on to do several more jumps (3 in total I understand)
I still have his parachute wings badge with the oval cloth backing. Black backing with a red/orange edging. This went with him on all his jumps.
Somehow he had his car with him, which was a Lincoln Zephyr. I often wonder how he managed to bring it over. There is of course the chance that it was an 'official' transport issue. He never had a Jeep.
