Dear Friends:

         As Governor of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, I am pleased to welcome you to Northern Kentucky for your reunion. It is a great honor for us to host the members of the 508th Parachute Infantry Regional [sic] who served our country with distinction.

       You represent the many men and women of our country who have defended the freedoms of millions of people around the world.  The success of our nation's military has always rested with courageous people like you.

          All Kentuckians salute you for your bravery and loyalty to our country.  You are truly American heroes.

          I hope this will be a wonderful reunion for you.    The opportunity to renew old friendships and recall past experiences can be a tremendous treasure.  Enjoy your visit and come to see us again.
