Solemn Site
the neat rows of grave markers and view over Omaha Beach is always moving

Seating Area
for hundreds was set up in the mall

Special Delivery
Major Duke Boswell and Barbara (Gavin) Fauntleroy  are taken to the presentation site

Even More Special
was the Presidential Limo

Huge Crowd
filled the central mall area of the cemetery grounds

Hot Seats
the sunny weather forced some to create their own shade and others to wish they could

Ubiquitous Cell Phones
at least three are in use here

Television Coverage
was plentiful

Long Lenses
enabled still photographers to get some good shots

SNAP SHOT
for many, a camera raised high was the only hope of getting a memorable photo
