508TH PIR ENDURES AND IS RE-ORGANIZED INTO A BRIGADE COMBAT TEAM
Reorganization Ceremonies
were held at Fort Bragg's Simmons Airfield (a helicopter base) on 6 January 2006.
Sequence of Events included:
- 82nd ABN Chorus
 - Formation of troops
- Honors To The Nation
- Remarks by MG Wm. B. Caldwell, IV
Explanation of The Airborne Reorganization
explains the need to make combat units more flexible and responsive.  The result is a reformation of the Division into four Brigade Combat Teams (BCTs).
   The 508th PIR has been infused with new blood by absorbing two other renowned regiments to form the 4th BCT.
Reorganization Legend
Note that the 3-5094 was designated as the 1 508 while the 3-325 has become the 2-508.
Parachutist's Creed
shared the back cover with a backdrop of parachutists hitting an LZ.
Airborne Creed
