SGT FRANKLIN C. SALAS
BRONZE STAR MEDAL AWARD

Sgt Salas Decorated

   CAMP RED BALL (IO) --- Sergeant Franklin C Salas, Agana, Guam was awarded the Army Commendation Medal for meritorious service and the Bronze Star Medal for meritorious achievement in the Republic of Vietnam. He is presently serving with the 1/508th Inf, 3rd Bde, 82nd Abn Dlv as a communication sergeant The "All American" entered the Army in May 1965 and received his basic combat training at Ft Ord, California. He arrived in the RVN In February of 1968.
   The 22-year-old paratrooper is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Pedro Salas, Talofofo District. Agana. Guam
