SSGT HARRY R. WALTMAN

Mrs. Jessie Waltman received a report that her son, Harry R. Waltman, was wounded although this record does not state when it occurred.

However, Company G Morning Reports listed him as Seriously Wounded in Action on 18 September 1944.  He returned to the unit on 13 October but was transferred to service Company where he was on light duty status.  It was not until 12 December that he was transferred back to Company G  SSgt Waltman was ultimately discharged on 4 May 1947.
