HENRY E. BIESEMEIER

[courtesy of "Arlee"]

Grave marker for Henry E. Biesemeier in Chamois United Church of Christ Cemetery, Chamois (Osage county), Missouri.  Note that his bronze military marker indicates his rank as having being Captain but the private family stone shows him as a Major.

Henry enlisted in the Army at Jefferson Barracks, MO on 9 September 1942.

His early service career is unknown but he attended OCS and was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant.

He was probably transferred to Company F,.508th in late 1945.
