Crypt marker for Clayton M. Brewer in Englewood United Methodist Church Garden of Memories, Englewood (Sarasota county), Florida

Clayton registered for the draft in  Erie, PA on 29 April 1944 and was inducted into the Army on 14 July 1944.

On 18 June 1945 Pvt Brewer was transferred from the 6900th Reinforcement Depot to Company I, 508th PIR.

He was discharged on 24 June 1946.

 

Clayton submitted this application for the Pennsylvania WWII Veterans Bonus.  He was credited with 9 months of domestic duty and 11 months of foreign service.  He was awarded a $255 bonus.
