HARRY JOHN CHARLEY
Harry John Charley, 72, of Okanogan, died April 26, 1997, at Central Washington Hospital.

He was born in Malott, May 4, 1924, to Bernard Charley and Louise Edwards. He married the mother of his children, Evelyn Wallahee, in 1950. He fought in the Battle of the Bulge with the 82nd Airborne. He was also in many other engagements during World War II.

He was a member of the Colville Confederated Tribes and a longtime member of Alcoholics Anonymous.

Survivors include two sons, Roger, Okanogan, and Harold, Omak; half-brother Leonard Lezard, Auburn; and a half-sister, Evelyn Lee, Malott. He was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister.
