WILLIAM C. CROSSMAN
William C. Crossman Jr., 80, of Mount Holly, Va., formerly of Sebring, died June 19, 2007.

He served in the United States Army during World War II with highest honors and bravery, serving in the 508th Parachute Infantry Division. He was dropped behind enemy lines and fought in the Battle of the Bulge where he was wounded. He went on to serve in the Ardennes, the Rhineland and Central Europe. For his valor and service he received the Good Conduct Medal, European African Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon, the Distinguished Unit Badge, the Belgium Fourragére, the Military Willems Order and the World War II Victory Ribbon. He was a member of Coles Point United Methodist Church.
