John registered for the draft in Homestead, PA on 16 February 1942 and was inducted into the Army at New Cumberland, PA  on 10 May 1944.

Pfc Fedorisky was transferred from the 82nd Airborne Division, to Company I, 508th PIR  1 December 1945.

He was discharged at Fort Dix, NJ  on 4 June 1946.

On 24 March 1950 John submitted this application for the Pennsylvania WWII Veterans Bonus.  e as credited 8 months of domestic duty and 12 months of foreign service with a $270 bonus awarded..
