Grave marker for William P. Freeman in the Middle Fork Cemetery,
Chilhowie (Smyth county), Virginia.
Although a native of Virginia, William enlisted in the Army at Ft
Bliss, El Paso, TX on 8 October 1942. Perhaps his father was an Army man.
Pvt Freeman was transferred from the 508th on 25 November 1943.
