'SUPER-SOLDIER'
--- "Super-grade, super-stripes, and super solider" is the success story
of M/Sgt Darius Grogg at Ft. McClellan. With no distinguishing
rank insignia for the new super-grades, Mrs. Grogg and Company commander
1st Lt Joseph Stone decided to give newly-appointed M/Sgt Grogg
stripes truly benefitting his new rank. Perhaps the youngest E-8
to attain the new grade, the 33-year old soldier, first sergeant of the
69th Chemical Company, was cited for his superior efficiency.
