LOREN E. HARRIMAN

Grave maker for Loren E. Harriman in Yelm Public Cemetery, Yelm (Thurston county), Washington.

Loren had been an enlisted man in the National Guard and transitioned to Regular Army as a Pfc on 24 February 1942.

He married married Cora Lee "Corky" Games in Thurston County, Washington in July of that same year. \

On 11 July 1955, now Captain Harriman, was transferred to the 58th ARCT  and was listed as the Special Services officer in the advance party that arrived in Beppu, Japan one month ahead of the combat team's main body.

Major Harriman retired on 22 January 1965 with an M1 classification (20 or more years of service.)
