Barney enlisted in the Army at Ft McClellan, AL on
5 December 1942.
His military decorations include the Bronze
Service Arrowhead device for Southern France Campaign and Airborne
Operations.
Pvt Jones was transferred to Company H, 508th PIR
from the 509th Parachute Infantry regiment on 4 February 1945. |
