DONALD N. KNUDSEN
Donald N. Knudsen

   MIAMI --- Rosary for Donald N. Knudsen, 58, who died Sept. 30, 1981, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix from injuries suffered that day in a motorcycle accident in Globe, will be 7:30 p.m. Sunday in the Miles Mortuary chapel.
   Mass will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
   Mr. Knudsen was a native of Tyler, Minn., and was retired from the Inspiration Copper Co. He moved here in 1962.
   Survivors include his wife, Ofelia; his father, George; two sisters and a brother.

Donald registered for the draft in Ivanhoe, MN on 30 June 1942 and was inducted unto the Army at Fort Snelling, MN on 29 August 1943.

On 3 October 1944, Pvt Knudsen was transferred from 82nd Division HQ to Service Co,  508th PIR and was promoted to Pfc on 4 January 1945,

His military decorations include the Combat Infantryman Badge for action during campaign, 18 Dec 1944 to 20 Feb 1945.
