RICHARD E, LARISSE

JENSEN BEACH - Richard E. Lassise, 79, died June 11, 2006, at Martin Memorial Medical Center in Stuart.

He was born in Washington, D.C., and lived in Jensen Beach for 26 years, coming from Missoula, Mont.

Before retirement in 1980, he was a firefighter for the City of Missoula for 26 years. He worked in the aviation and security industries in Martin County.

He served in the Army as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division.

He was a member of the Elks Lodge and the Kiwanis Club.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Laura Lee Lassise; daughters, Mackie Yvonne of Seeley Lake, Mont., Janice Johnson of Kalispell, Mont., Terry Lassise of Portland, Ore., Lori Rosales of Billings, Mont., Lynda Johnson of Aloha, Ore., and Kimberly Sprunk of Bearverton, Ore.; sons, Micheal Lassise of Tucson, Ariz., Wally Lassise of Sheridan, Wyo., Mark Lassise of Mason City, Iowa, and Larry Lassise of Gig Harbor, Wash.; brother, Ralph Lassise of Stuart; 22 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brothers Charles Lassise, Alfred Lassise and George Lassise; and sister, Geraldine Gabler.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hibiscus Children's Center, 2400 N.E. Dixie Hwy., Jensen Beach, FL 34957.

SERVICES: Services are private. Arrangements are by All County Funeral Home & Crematory in Stuart.
