Born in Alleghany County, PA, Anthony
enlisted in the Army on 13 October 1943. Following basic training and
jump school he was assigned to Hq 1st, 508th.
Pfc Manack was listed as slightly
injured in Belgium on 3 January 1945 and was able to rejoin the company on
21 April 1945.
Anthony re-enlisted on 10 December 1945.
It is unknown how many more years he remained in service. |
