MARVIN MARSH
 

Birth and death certificates for Marvin Marsh. His remains were cremated and the disposition of his ashes is unknown.

Marvin enlisted in the Army at Camp Atterbury, Columbus, IN on 21 March 1942. 

Pvt Marsh's date of arrival in the 508th is not shown in available records.  He was wounded in action on 4 July 1944 while serving with Hq Hq, 508th PIR.

His military decorations include the Purple Heart and the Bronze Service Arrowhead device awarded for participation in the Normandy assault.
