FRANCIS "FRANK", age 77, of Melbourne, FL., formerly of Lafayette Hill, PA., March 7, 2003, beloved husband of 50 years of Eileen (nee Meehan), devoted father of Lawrence M. (Donna Husel) and loving grandfather of Mercedes, Joshua, Alexander and Antonio. Frank was a Veteran of WW II and Korean Wars. 21 years a Salesman for Bell Helicopter/Textron. Services are private. Contributions may be made in Frank's memory to The American Helicopter Museum, 1220 American Blvd., West Chester, PA 19380.

Francis registered for the draft in Philadelphia, PA on 25 January 1944 and was inducted into the Army at New Cumberland, PA on 27 March 1944.

Pvt Mustico was transferred from the 505th PIR to Co F, 508th PIR on 9 October 1945.

He was discharged on 23 June 1946.

 

On 12 April 1950, Francis submitted this application for the Pennsylvania WWII Veterans Bonus.  He was credited with 12 months of domestic duty and 11 months of foreign service yielding a $285 bonus payment..

Francis was recalled to duty for the Korean Conflict on 8 February 1949.

His final discharge took place on 3 October 1952.
