DANIEL F. SHARPE

Chief Warrant Officer 3 Daniel Furman Sharpe (Ret.), of Cayce, joined his sweetheart of 58 years, in their Heavenly home on January 16, 2017.
   A son of the late John L and Laura Gaynell Sharpe, he was born in Bull Swamp, SC.
   A 20-year veteran of the U.S. Army, he served with the Red Devils in Japan, Special Forces in Vietnam and Panama, 82nd Airborne, Fort Bragg, NC, and 320th Field Artillery BN, Fort Campbell, KY.
   Throughout his military career, he lived and traveled through Japan, Korea, three tours in Vietnam, Panama, two tours in Germany, Fort Bragg, NC, Fort Campbell, KY, and Fort Hood, TX.
   Following his military retirement, he spent 23 years as a civilian at Fort Jackson, SC. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Gwendolyn Tindal Sharpe.
