WARREN J. SIMPSON

Warren Jackson Simpson On August 2, 2018, Warren Jackson (Jack) Simpson passed away in Billings from cancer and related illness. He will be deeply missed but his family is grateful he no longer suffers pain.
   The son of Park and Margaret Simpson, Jack was born Oct. 31, 1935 and grew up in Billings, graduating in 1953 from Billings senior High. Following graduation he served as a medic in the 82nd Airborne Division, U. S. Army paratroopers.
  After military service, Jack attended Eastern Montana College (now MSU-Billings) where he received his Bachelors Degree and went on to work for the Federal Office of Personnel Management, until his retirement.
   On Dec. 14, 1957, Jack married Jeannette Foltz and they were blessed with three cherished sons—Curt, Mark and B.J.
   Upon retirement, he and Jeannette returned to Billings. Jack spent his later years playing his beloved golf and socializing with friends at Pryor Creek golf Club.
   He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his wife, Jeannette, his sons Curt, Mark and B.J. (Heidi), 4 grand-children, 11 great grandchildren and his sister, Audrey Honegger (Karl) and daughters.
   Jack was laid to rest at the National Veterans Cemetery, Laurel, Mt on August 7th, following a memorial service at Pryor Creek Golf Club.
