Patrick, although
a native of Minneapolis, enlisted in te Army at Washington, DC
on 21 July 1942.
He was a member of
Service Company and "I" Company, 508th during WWII rising from
Pvt to SSgt.
He was awarded the
Combat Infantryman badge for action during Normandy, France
Campaign, 6 June 1944 to 9 July 1944 and the Bronze Arrowhead
Device for the Holland campaign and Airborne operations. |
