   Clifford A. Villeneuve of Hardwick was one of four from this county who left St. Johnsbury yesterday for induction into the U. S. Army.

Grad. of Airborne Course

   HARDWICK, July 20 --- Pvt. Clifford A. Villeneuve, son of Mr. and Mrs. P. A. Villeneuve of Hardwick has been graduated from the basic airborne course of the Infantry school at Fort Benning, Ga., as a qualified parachutist.

   HARDWICK. Sept. 19 Cpl. Clifford A. Villeneuve, son of Mr. and Mrs. Barnabe Villeneuve. was married to Florence Joann Berncliff in a candlelight double ring ceremony Sept 8 In the Army Chapel at Fort Benning. Ga.
   Attending the couple were the bridegroom's oldest sister and brother-in- law. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bolduc of Littleton. N. H. Also attending was the bride-groom's mother,. Mrs. Barnabe Villeneuve, who traveled to Georgia to see her only son wed.
   The bride formerly from Littleton, N. H.. was graduated from Littleton High School, class of 1950.
   The bride-groom is a member of the 508 Airborne at Fort Benning where he is stationed In the motor pool division.  He had formerly taken training at Fort Bragg. N. C.. In the 82nd Airborne until his transfer to Fort Benning.
   A small wedding supper was held In Cpl. and Mrs. Villeneuve's apartment at 42B Bakers Village, Columbus,. Ga., where they will reside after a short honeymoon.

  Mr. and Mrs. Barney Villeneuve have received word that their son, Cpl. Clifford Villeneuve, has re-enlisted for an extended year of service in the Amy Airborne. Cpl. Villeneuve has completed his tenured two years ct training, taking his boot training at Fort Bragg, N. C., and then being transferred to Fort, Benning, Ga., where he is now stationed.

Mr. and Mrs. Barney Villeneuve have received word that their son,  Cpl Clifford Villeneuve, has seriously injured his back while parachute jumping at Fort Benning, (la and will have to wear a cast for several months

   Cpl Clifford Villeneuve who has just been discharged from the paratroopers at Ft Benning, GA.. Is temporarily making his home with his sister, Mrs. Charles Bolduc. Mr. Bolduc and family. Mr,. and Mrs. Bolduc and family spent the week end at the home of Mrs. Bolduc's mother Mi. B A Villeneuve in Hardwick.

Clifford registered for the draft in St. Johnsbury, VT on 4 November 1946 and was inducted into the Army on 4 November 1951.

He served in Hq 1st from 1951-53.

Clifford passed away on 29 May 3006.  His final resting place is unknown.
