Milton R,. Wood registered for the draft ca., 1942 and was inducted on 10 March 1942.

Pvt Wood was transferred from the Reception Center, Fort Devens, MA to Company A, 508th PIR on 25 October 1942.

On 15 December 1942, Pvt Wood was transferred from Company A to Company H.

He was transferred to the Casual Company at the Parachute School, Fort Benning, GA on 12 March 1943.

Milton died in New Castle, PA on 14 March 2001.  His final resting place is currently unknown.
