Marvin
Silver, Service Co., had a special lunch date at
Sissonne in March 1945 when Marlene Dietrich hit the chow line with him.
Marlene was in camp for the jump that was held in her honor that day.
Woman on right is believed to be Martha Gellhorn, an American novelist,
travel writer and journalist, considered to be one of the greatest war
correspondents of the 20th century. She reported on virtually every major
world conflict that took place during her 60-year career.
