PREPARE TO LAND!

" . . . nearing ground, Red Devils of 508th Parachute Infantry prepare for landing, one of many dangerous phases of jump.  Most begin climbing suspension lines to stay clear of others in descent and hit selected landing spot.  Chutes, sensitive to air currents, may tangle, then collapse unless jumper is constantly alert and expertly trained in manipulation.
