RETURN TO CAMP SHANKS

13- AMMUNITION & INFLAMMABLES: Ammunition, cartridges, lighter fuel, and lubricating oil will not be put in rubbish. They will be turned in at time of processing. Souvenirs (Hand Grenades and other possible explosives will be taken to the Ordinance Officer {Bldg 9101 - Small Arm Section) for check as to safety, after which they will be returned to the owner.

14. ABSENCE FROM DISPOSITION AREA; No personnel will leave Disposition Area without permission of the Unit or Group leader; Unit or Group Leaders will not leave without permission of the Area Headquarters Adjutant. This applies to all absences, such as visits to the Poet Office, bank, or telephone center.

15. MISPLACED PERSONNEL: Individuals arriving here, who, through obvious error on the part of the government, have been placed in the wrong reception, station group, will report this fact at once to their reception station group leader or unit commander, who will upon verification of facts report this matter to the area representative of Military Personnel Branch.

16. POLICE: Barracks and surrounding areas will be maintained in a clean and orderly condition at all times. Unit and Group Leaders will rotate their personnel for local police duty (sweeping) in order to accomplish the above.

17. FRATERNIZATION; There will be no fraternization with Italian Service Unit personnel or with German POW’s on duty here. No relations whatsoever will be tolerated with this personnel, except Strictly in Line of duty.

18. RECEPTION STATION GROUP: Group Leaders are responsible for the control and discipline of their groups, both here and enroute to reception stations. Returnees, except when released by their Group leaders will stay together and be available at all times as a group.

19. AAF & AF LIAISON; AAF and AF liaison personnel will be in Building __ to answer any questions you may have peculiar to these major commands.

20. BEDDING: Troops will use the blankets they have with them. Those not having blankets will draw them from the Area Custodial Officer in Building __ Blankets drawn here will be returned to the Area Custodial Officer before leaving (hour to be specified).

21. SERVICE RIBBONS: Initial issue of service ribbons which you are entitled to wear will be issued to you free of charge at your reception station. You will also be granted permission to purchase additional ribbons to which you are entitled,

22. MAIL. A. Your return address will be that used while on leave or furlough.
                B. No mail is to be received at this station except for Categories II and IV Units.
                C. Mall Orderlies should be appointed by Unit or Group Leaders.
                D. Post Office is located opposite Railway Station on Western Highway.

29. CAMP BUS SYSTEM; Free ant frequent service to all points within the Camp.

24. BARBER SHOP; A. For Enlisted men, in most PXs.
                               B. For Officers, Building 091, Highview Avenue Ext. 781.
