The First Time a band has played on the balcony over the entrance to the Nottingham Council House.  They were there to-day ---an American Army band, who paid their respects to the Lord Mayor. - newspaper and date unknown.

112th Army Ground Forces Band
in Frankfurt, 1945 was the result of merging the 508th Band along with other existing groups.
