Grave marker and burial service notice for Tec/4 Emmanuel M. Foster.  Foster was killed in action in Holland on September 20, 1944  and was awarded the Purple Heart.

The newspaper article is dated August 18 while a handwritten note states "1944".   The notation probably pertains to the year of Foster's death while his remains were undoubtedly repatriated in 1946 or later.

His final resting place is in the Bingham Village Cemetery, Bingham, Maine.
