unit as "50u Prcht Inf" as well as the dates of birth and death.
Jettie enlisted in the Army at Akron, OH on 3 Decembe4r
1942. Pvt House was assigned to Hq 3rd, 508th and completed
parachutist training on 12 March 1943.
Pfc House was killed in action on June 7 1944 and was awarded the
Purple Heart as well as the Combat Infantryman Badge which was awarded
posthumously for the Normandy, France Campaign, 6 June 1944 to 9 July
1944. |
