FAMILY LEGACY LIVES ON

Amber Juris, a senior at Viterbo University, was recently recognized as being among the best future Army officers in the country.
The Fiscal Year 2006 National Order of Merit List for future U.S.. Army Second Lieutenants just was released.  The Commission Review Board consisted of seven senior officers that together have more than a century of service to the country.
This board reviewed the files of future Armt officers and put them into a rank of one to 3,838.  Juris was ranked 19 out of 3,838 nationwide.  This earned her the honor of being named a Distinguished Military Graduate.
Juris, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Juris of Amherst, plans to become a nurse in the U.S. Army.
