Jesse enlisted in the Army on 1 October 1942 at Camp Shelby, MS. He
served with Company F, 508th PIR
Cpl Kellum was killed in action on 6 July 1944 and was awarded the Purple Heart
anmd the Combat Infantryman Badge, both posthumously. |
