PVT ROBERT A. MORGAN

FORMER COLLINSVILLE BOY
WAS KILLED IN ACTION

Mr. and Mrs. Gus Morgan of Tulsa, received the sad news last Friday that their son, Bobbie, had been killed in action somewhere on the European front.
The parents first heard that Bob had been wounded on June 13.  Almost three months passed and they didn't hear from him.  Becoming uneasy, they wrote to the Adjutant general, asking him to locate Bob if it was possible.  They were notified of his death last Friday.
Bob was a paratrooper, and had been stationed in England, prior to the invasion of France.
The Morgan family lived here nine years ago.  The children, Nadine, Bob and Bill, attended school here, Nadine graduated in 1933, before moving to Tulsa.
The News joins their many friends in extending sympathy and regrets to the extended family.
