Lt. Quaid was a 1st Lt. and Platoon Leader in Company H,
508th Parachute Infantry Regiment (PIR), 82nd Airborne Division.
He was initially listed as Missing In Action on D-Day, June 6, 1944. His
remains were later recovered and his official date of death was
determined to be June 23, 1944.
