Plot C, Row 16, Grave 20, Henri Chapelle American Cemetery, Belgium.
Jack registered for the draft in Flint, MI on 1`6
February 1942. He was inducted into the Army in Detroit, MI on 1
July 1942.
According to available records, T/5 Rolland was
transferred from the 551st PIR to Co E, 508th PIR on 13 February 1945.
That date, however, falls after the reported date of his death as he was killed in action on February 9, 1945.
His military decorations include the Purple Heart. |
