PFC CLAUD M. YOUNGBLOOD
(Photos courtesy of "Jana H")

Grave marker for Pfc Claud M. Youngblood in the First Baptist Cemetery, Sugar Hill (Gwinnett County), Georgia.

Pfc Youngblood was killed in action on June 16, 1944 and was awarded the Purple Heart.

NOTE: All military records for him show his given name as "Claude" while the headstone inscription shortened it to "Claud".  We presume that the family chose to show it as he was baptized.
