with footnote of "Camp de Sissone - "Caserne et Réfectoires" meaning Barracks and Dining Halls
Note that while the barracks are permanent structures, there are a number of tents apparently serving as dining shelters. The one in the rear is gargantuan.
Also, the men in the picture wear French uniforms so this image probably pre-dates WW-II |
