COMPANY I - CAMP MACKALL, 1943 (or other location as may be noted)
Pvt A. W. Teel Pvt Raymond E. Thornburgh Pvt Merlin J. Tindal
{undated) Captured on 6 June 1944 and liberated from
Stalag 4B on 7 May 45.
   Ironically he left France on 5 June 1945, one year after he flew there for the invasion.  He was one of 22 personnel from the 508th aboard the USS Admiral Benson headed home, it docked in New York Harbor on 12 June 1945.  He was discharged at Camp McCoy, WI on 6 January 1946

was transferred due to broken leg and ended up in 143rd Infantry Regiment, 36th Inf Div. KIA in Belgium
