Col Roy E. Lindquist Colonel Roy E. Lindquist, was the  first Commander of the 508th P.I.R. He remained in command while leading the regiment in combat throughout the unit's Europe service.  This photo was probably taken in Frankfurt, 1945.
T/5 Richard V. Longley Pvt William G. Lord, II
   In 1945, SSgt, Lord was sent to OCS for commission as a 2nd Lt.  H\e authored the definitive "HISTORY OF THE 508TH PARACHUTE INFANTRY"

   In 1944, Captain Loughmiller was briefly attached to Hq Hq from 319th Field Artillery
