Congress of the United States
House of Representatives
Washington, DC 20515-5001
May 9, 1995
Mr. Ted Lee
Site Chairman, 508 PIR
2351 Lee Lane
Casper, Wyoming 82504
Dear Mr. Lee:
I would like to take this
opportunity to welcome the 508 Parachute Infantry Regiment to our great
state of Wyoming. This is the first time a unit of the 82nd Airborne
Division Association has held a reunion in Wyoming and I am honored to
be the first to greet you.
Those Americans who served their country under the American flag should
be shown every courtesy and respect. They served their country and their
nation's leaders with pride. I know the sacrifices of our Military
personnel from personal experience. My grandfather served in Europe
during World War I. In World War II, my father served in Europe and
North Africa. Both my husband and brother served their country in
Vietnam.
On behalf of the people of
Wyoming, I commend all of you who have served this nation in uniform for
all you have done in service to this country. You are to be honored for
your service to our country. May God bless you all.
Sincerely,
/s/ Barbara Cubin
Member of Congress
