S-2 Periodic Rpt to date shows PWs 3 OFF, 86 EM; est killed to date 110.  1900 hrs - Arty shells falling vicinity bivouac area of Regt - from SW (Hill 131?) .  1720 - Lt Moss return w/patrol .  Operation cancelled until further notice.

2100 hrs - Lt Mitchell + 12 EM to Regt 2100 hrs for patrol mission
                                   Sgt Morris, Pvt Croteau, Pvt Becker, Pfc Gross, Pfc Cicchillo, Pfc Queen, Pvt Redding,
                                   Pvt Hughes, Cpl Pace, Pfc Cable, Pfc Hughes, Pfc Polasky.
Pfc Hutto, Co I, shot left hand w/carbine .45 pistol.  Report from Div. that Lt Roy Murray LMG plat ldr fm MIA to KIA and buried in Div Cemetery at Blosville.

2200 hrs - Bn alerted for switch move.  Transp of Bn - 11/2 T Ger. and 1 21/2. 2 Doodle bugs, 1 trailer, 1 Ki truck, 1 Jeep, I Motorcycle
 

23 0030 - Lt Mitchell's patrol returned.  Turned back by order while yet in 325 position o/c heavy shelling.  1100 hrs - patrol to Regt under Lt Horne, Cpl Downey, Pvt Chisolm, Pfc Monroe, Pvt Gross, Pvt Queen, Pvt Cicchillo, Pvt Redding, Cpl Pace, Pvt Hughes (S-2) Pfc Pollock, Pvt Cable + Hughes.  Pvt Isaacs, Hq Co, evac to clearing stn.  S/Sgt Anderson (Mort plat) evac to clearing stn. 
1830 hrs - Lt Horne's patrol returned.  Pvt Chisolm shot in shoulder but returned to Bn Aid Stn.  Riflemen 150 (em?) + MG + small caliber arty spotted vicinity of (illegible-Curiterre?).  VII Corps reports grave of Lt Quaid.
2300 - Bn moved to switch positions.  Lt Covey and Lt Gutshall of 319 FA. Lt Yoffee of 87 Armd FA, Lt Crawford of 456 - rptd to Bn C.O.  Wire recvd that Lt Williams* wife gave birth to twin boys.
2400 - Arrived new location, CP 253893
  * Jumpmaster note: Lt Gene Williams was KIA three days prior to the arrival of the wire announcing the birth of his sons
